Huybrechts is known for his consistent performance and accuracy on the dartboard. He is also known for his impressive finishing skills, often hitting crucial doubles and triples under pressure.

Dimitri Van den Bergh is another rising star in the Belgian darts scene. He won the 2020 World Matchplay, one of the most prestigious events in the sport. Dimitri started playing darts at a young age and quickly showed great potential in the sport. He turned professional in 2014 and has since established himself as one of the top players in the world. Van den Bergh has won numerous tournaments throughout his career, including the World Youth Championship in 2017 and the World Matchplay in 2020. Van den Bergh is known for his explosive scoring and clinical finishing on the dartboard. He is also known for his charismatic personality and flamboyant celebrations, which have made him a fan favourite among darts enthusiasts.

Van den Bergh has represented Belgium in various international competitions, including the World Cup of Darts. He has teamed up with Kim Huybrechts to compete for their home country, and they have achieved some impressive results together.

Belgium also hosts several darts events throughout the year. One of the biggest is the Antwerp Open, which attracts top players from around the world. The event is held in November and features both men's and women's tournaments.

The Antwerp Open is organized by the BDA ; the tournament features a singles and doubles event, with separate competitions for professional and amateur players and men and women. It is held at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp, a venue that can accommodate thousands of spectators. The tournament typically lasts for several days, with the finals being held on the last day.

Anyone interested in participating must register well in advance. The Antwerp Open is a must-attend event for darts enthusiasts and a great opportunity to see some of the best players in the world compete. After the tournament is over Antwerp is well worth a visit; it is a vibrant and historic city known for its stunning architecture, world-class museums and lively culture. Highlights include the Cathedral of Our Lady, the Rubenshuis museum, the Antwerp Zoo, and the diamond district...and the chips, beer and partying of course!
